Personal events and their impact
Hello everyone,
I'm normally a fairly private person. I love to talk about the game and generally chat, but I tend to keep my personal life to myself. Unfortunately, events in my life are now having a large impact on the development of YU, and so I feel it's only fair to let you all know what's going on.
A little while ago, my fiancée found out she has cancer. Things moved pretty quickly and she was soon booked in for surgery, but we needed to go to a specialist hospital in another part of the country. I decided I wanted to stay there with her, so I could support her during her recovery.
The surgery was complex, but she is thankfully recovering, but I'm not sure yet when we'll be able to go home. Which is why I wanted to post this. I'm not able to do any dev work whilst away, and when we're back I'll likely have less time than I had before, so there are likely to be delays.
I genuinely love making this game. It's a hobby, a passion and, when times are hard, an escape. I have no intention of giving it up. The next couple of updates will just take a little longer than I hoped.
I will keep you all updated when I'm home and back at it.

Hello again,
My fiancée is now thankfully out of hospital, and we're back in our hometown staying with family. There's still lots of follow ups and treatments to come, but at least the major surgery is behind her.
I'm tentatively dipping back into development work. I'll have significantly less time than before, but I'm able to make some progress at least.
The patreon poll for Hannah's outfit will go up fairly soon, and I'll have some previews of Ezri's photoshoot for patrons some time after that.

Aye, take care of yourself and your fiance first. Don't rush or burn yourself out while dealing with the stress. We can wait. We hope for a smooth recovery and for things to go back to relatively normal.

Been and done the whole cancer thing so I know just what a pain in the bum it is for everyone involved. Take your time (both of you!) and get back into the game when you are good and ready and the making of it feels like a joy to you again.
